Mission Bay

While Mission Bay, a part of San Francisco, California, does not appear to be a typical San Francisco neighborhood, it is home to major sports teams, cutting-edge medical facilities, and fine restaurants. The University of California at San Francisco was the first large organization to establish itself in the city, with a new medical facility opening in 2003.They grew in size over the next few years, and now occupy nearly a third of the district. The entire neighborhood grew quickly as the medical facility expanded.

The Golden State Warriors' purchase of beachfront property in 2014 helped to put this neighborhood on the map as well. They bought it to build the Chase Center, the new home of the Warriors, which opened in 2019. This neighborhood has gained in popularity in recent years, and it is now home to a large population of tech workers. Mission Bay's population is multicultural, with residents from all over the world.
